St.Mary's Club notes

Senior: St. Mary’s took on Ballymote at Kent Park last Saturday evening in the sixth round of the Division 1 League. The home side, aided by the wind in the first half, led by seven points at half time with Neil Smyth getting on the score sheet twice with two well taken goals. Ballymote always threatened during the second period and Mary’s withstood some heavy pressure before a Colm Egan goal with ten minutes remaining sealed the victory. Final Score: St. Mary’s  3-7 Ballymote 1-8. Special mention to Minor player Cian Breheny who made his debut for the Club at this level. The Seniors have no match on the May Bank Holiday weekend before returning to League action on the weekend of May 12/13. Training for all panel members continues this week on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00pm. It is vital that all players attend.
