The past couple of weeks have seen two more club teams exit their respective championships. The U-14’s lost out to Coolera in a play-off after the teams finished level on points in the group stages in the “C” C’ship. The club is indebted to Junior players Deirdre Kilgannon, Danielle Dunleavy and Grainne Reynolds for their excellent management of this side throughout the year.

Defeat to Tourlestrane under lights on Wednesday last ended the U-16’s chances of capturing silverware for this year. Thanks to Martin Mulligan and Anne Ruane for looking after this group of players.

Noleen Ruane was a member of the Sligo U-13 Girls Development Squad which competed in the Connacht Development Blitz in Ballyhaunis last week. The Squad Co-Ordinator for the current year is Sean KIlgannon.

The club expresses its sincere sympathy to Junior player Ciara Hannon and her family on the death of her grandmother, Sarah Meehan of Dromahair. Sympathy is also extended to Sligo GAA  Cultural Officer Bernardine McGauran, Calry,  and her family on the death of  her mother. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh siad.
