Sligo Urban Schools Blitz

Nine teams turned up to play last week in a 4th class urban blitz in Cleveragh Sports Astro pitch. This was the first time for an event of its kind to take place with players not affiliated to any club taking part alongside some lads who are playing for their club. Coaches from the urban clubs were invited along to the event. There was some fantastic skill on display with coaches from each club hopefully unearthing some new players for their underage teams. Thanks to the following schools for taking part. Strandhill, st brendans, st.edwards, St .Johns, Mercy, Collooney boys, Ballisodare, Rosses Point and Scoil Ursula. Hope all enjoyed the event.
