Sligo GAA County Board Development Draw:

As we enter the final week to the lead up to the two finals, the Kennedy’s Intermediate & Belfry Senior Football County Finals we look forward to the final push in sales for a coveted Main Prize of €1,000 in the Sligo GAA County Development Draw! Tickets are still available to buy from All Clubs & the County Board!

7 Prizes are Up for grabs: 1st Prize €1,000:   2nd €500: 3rd €100: 4th €100:

5th €100: 6th €100: & 7th €100. The County Board would kindly ask all GAA supporters in the County & further afield to support this fundraising initiative. Tickets are Available from all members of the County Board Executive & All Clubs in the County! The Development Draw will take place at half time during the Senior Football Championship Final between Tubbercurry & Tourlestrane next Sunday. Thank you for your Continued Support!

County Finals: Senior Hurling Championship Final

On Saturday last Calry/St. Josephs had a convincing win over Coolera/Strandhill in the Senior Hurling Championship final on a score line of 5-13 to 6pts. Congrats to Calry/St. Josephs and we wish them the best of luck in the next stage of Connacht!

Minor A Football Title

The Minor A Football final between St. Mary’s & Tourlestrane was the opening game to the Senior Hurling Final last Saturday. St. Mary’s ran out convincing winners in this game on a score line of 3-12 to 6pts. Congratulations to the St. Marys team and their mentors

Saturday 12th Oct: Kennedy’s Intermediate Championship Football Final

This coming Saturday 12th of October we will see the Kennedy’s Intermediate Football Final taking place in Markievicz Park at 4.30pm between Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and near neighbours Calry/St. Josephs who are now going for the double after winning the Senior Hurling Title. Best of luck to both clubs involved, in what should be an entertaining Intermediate Final.  

Sunday 13th Oct: Belfry Senior Championship Football Final

The following day Sunday 13th of October, Markievicz Park will host a double header of the Minor A2 Final between Castleconnor & Coolaney/Mullinabreena @ 1.30pm and the Belfry Senior Championship Football Final between Tubbercurry & Tourlestrane @ 3.30pm. Best of luck to both clubs involved, in what should also be an entertaining Senior Final.
