The Sligo U-14 Development squad finished the year on a very positive note against Donegal and Monaghan in St Marys GAA grounds on Saturday. Sligo who fielded two squads won all four of their games against their Northern counterparts playing some excellent football in tough conditions. This was the final days work for the squad as they were given strength/flexibilty/skills programmes to be working on over the winter period. Thanks to Donegal and Monaghan for travelling down to play ourselves in an entertaining mornings football. Thanks to referees Gavin Cawley and Michael Conway. Aspecial thanks to the St Marys GAA Club for the use of their facilities it was really appreciated especially with the poor weather conditions. Finally thanks to the parents of the young players for their commitment to the squad over the past few months.
