Calry/St Joseph's won back-to-back titles for the first time with victory over the Galway champions.

The Sligo champions raced into a three-point lead but An Spideal kept in touch with wing-forward and captain Fergal O Mainin who hit four frees.

Ciaran Breathnach then netted for An Spideal, but the holders replied with a goal from Eolan McCarthy to leave the scores 1-7 to 1-5 at the break.

After the break, Sean O Curraoin netted for An Spideal but Calry/St Joseph's came back via a brilliant goal from Kevin Gilmartin. And two points late on from McCarthy sealed the win.
