Jacqui Mulligan, Aishling Molloy and Geraldine Ruane were all members of the Sligo Ladies team which defeated Offaly in the Div 3 League clash between the sides last week. A feature of this years home league games has been the staging of mini exhibition games involving U-10 players during the interval. Well done to Jade Scott, Emma O’Brien, Kayleigh Walsh and Maria and Anabelle O’Connell, all of whom have represented our club in these games.
The club leagues are just around the corner with the Intermediate team due to begin it’s campaign on March 16th and the U-16’s getting into action a week later. The club is urgently seeking volunteers to help out with both sides.
The Ladies Gaelic Football Association are currently recruiting personnel interested in joining a national panel of linespersons who would be available to officiate at intercounty games. All participants will have to undergo special training. Details from club secretary Anne.
Well done to all involved with the extremely successful play which was staged last weekend in Dromore West and thanks to all who supported it, thereby helping to raise much needed funds for the Community Park.
Sympathy is extended to the relatives of the late Mary Dunne who passed away recently. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.
