Well done to the Minor team who had a good 5-9 to 1-11 win over St Michaels last Thursday in the first round of the championship. The team was: Stephen Keegan, Aaron Kelly, Ciaran Kilfeather, Paul Higgins, Conor Carroll, Andy Flynn, Michael Kilkenny (0-1), Enda O'Connell, Daire Kearns (1-2), Daniel Willis (1-5), Caolan Morrisroe (0-1), Darragh Hailstones, Mark Kearns 3-0. Subs: Marc Keegan for D Hailstones, Darragh Lyons for C Morrisroe, Paul Harrington for P Higgins, Luke Flynn for D Kearns (inj).
 
Well done to the U14 team who defeated Tubbercurry 2-13 to 0-5 last Friday in the 'A' League semi-final. The team was: Ultan McKenna, Shane McCann, Sean Carroll, Adrian Benson, Evan Lyons, Patrick Benson (0-3), Adam King, Seamus Hailstones (0-1), James Carroll (0-1), Shane Deignan, (0-1), Bryan Johnston (0-1), Paul Leydon, (1-1), Daniel Lyons (0-1), Dylan Willis (1-3), Michael Barry (0-1), subs: Eoin Dwyer for A Benson, Ryan Brennan for P Benson, Killian Walsh for M Barry, Brendan Hailstones for D Lyons. They now play Eastern Harps in the final on 18th July.
 
The U12 boys had a hard fought win over Eastern Harps last week. The team was Ryan Thompson, Conor Kearns, Patrick Kenny, Eoin Dywer, Lee Deignan, Aodhan Eivers, Harry Conlon, Patrick Barrett, Adam Kearns, Darragh Heffernan, Michael Coen, Johnny Kenny, Cathal Jinks, Shane Dywer, Andrew McGrievy, Charlie Mullen, David Barlow, Kealon Brehony. They now play Owenmore Gaels away this Tuesday 8th at 7PM.
 
Both Girls U14 teams teams play in their respective county legaue finals next Saturday – more details later.
 
Booking for the Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp is open for boys and girls aged 6-13 - the camp takes place from 21st-25th July from 10am-2pm. Please contact Mary Quinn 0863757626 as soon as possible to book your place or book on-line at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. Application forms will also be available at training on Saturday morning in Coola.
 
The club wish to express sympathy to Gerry and Monica Murphy and family, Ballygawley on the passing of their daughter Sarah at the weekend – a minute silence was observed at the boys U14 game last weekend as a mark of respect. The Club also wish to express sympathy with the Clancy Family, Killery Ballintogher on the death of John and also the Dwyer family, Drumnacool on the death of Brigid Dwyer
