The Kelloggs Cul Camp for children ages 6 to 13 takes place at our club from July 21st to 25th. Booking can be done on line at
www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps. or at the Club Building on the first morning of the camp.
Club Officials will be calling to houses in the locality over the next fortnight to follow up on our fundraising efforts for the new Training Pitch. The club is hoping to sell 500 plots on our new pitch at a cost of 100 euro per plot to meet the funding shortfall. The name of each Purchaser will be recognised on a permanent display adjacent to the new facility. Support for this fundraiser is crucial to ensure we deliver a successful project.
This Friday evening July 16th our U14 boys C squad meet Ballymote in the final of the league Shield competition with time and venue still to be confirmed. The team beat St Michaels 4-06 to 4-03 in last weeks semi final. It is a great achievement to have two teams competing at this age group and to find ourselves in a final. Our Minor Boys are away to Tourlestrane in the A championship on Thursday evening July 17th at 7.00pm.
Our U16 Boys were beaten 2-15 to 4-04 by St Mary's in the championship last week.
The Club hosted an U17 fixture between Sligo and Donegal last Saturday. Well done to everyone involved in hosting this fixture and providing hospitality to the teams.
