Your Sports Club needs you!
Deadline in sight for Simply Clever sponsorship competition
Burns Car Sales is offering local Sports Clubs the opportunity to win club kit. With only two weeks remaining in the Simply Clever sponsorship competition, time is running out for the public to support their local Sports Club. Sports Clubs need members to get down to Burns Car Sales and get test driving brand new SKODA 142 cars over the next two weeks before the deadline on Thursday, 31st July.
The leader board was last updated on Friday, 18th with Collooney Kickboxing Club occupying first place, Coolera/Strandhill GAA Club in second place and St Molaise Gaels GAA club in third place with many other clubs very close to breaking the top three. The leader board will now be hidden until the winners are revealed.
The competition will finish once the dealership closes at 6.00pm on Thursday, 31st August and the winners will be announced live on Ocean FM during the Final Whistle show on Friday, 1st August.
Burns Car Sales, Sligo is giving local sports clubs the opportunity to win sponsorship prizes. With a top prize of €1,250 worth of club kit to be won, club members simply need to test-drive a brand new ŠKODA and earn points for their sports club of choice. Further points will be earned if a test drives results in the purchase of a new 142 SKODA. The club with the most points on Friday, 1st August will receive the top sponsorship prize with prizes for second (€1000) and third (€750) also.
The SKODA Octavia has proven the most popular car of choice for test drives taken with the Rapid coming in a close second. Burns Car Sales are giving entrants the opportunity to test drive a wide range of SKODA vehicles including the Citigo, the family friendly Octavia and the increasingly popular Yeti.
Commenting on the competition, John Burns, dealer principal, Burns Car Sales said “We have had a great response from sports clubs so far including GAA, basketball, hockey, kickboxing and many more. The leader board is very close but there is still time left to make a difference and every test drive counts. We would urge people to get down to the dealership for a test drive and support their local club. Aside from the competition, we have some fantastic offers available through SKODA finance and we would encourage people to visit the dealership on the Dublin road and take a test drive.”
