Hard luck to the U14 team who lost the 'A' League final to Eastern Harps last Friday on a scoreline of (3-7) to (3-5). They now turn their attention to the Championship with a home game against Tubbercurry on 1st August.
 
The Senior team had a hard fought (1-13) to (2-7) win over St Michaels in the league last Saturday. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Colin Harte, Paul Higgins, Keith McMorrow, Niall Brennan, Frank Quinn, Niall Henry, Joe Henry (1-0), Liam O'Connell (0-1), Ciaran O'Connor, Paddy O'Grady (0-2), David Quinn (0-3), Keith Candon, Joe Quinn (0-5), Michael Hannon (0-2). Subs: Derek Davey for K Candon, Gavin McMorrow for C O'Connor, Shane Barry for C Harte (inj), Declan Willis for M Hannon, Keith Candon for J Quinn (inj).
 
The Junior team had a great 3-22 to 1-9 away win over Coolera/Strandhill in the league on Sunday. They are out next Sunday also against Coolera/Strandhill in the Junior Championship at 1.30PM in Ballintogher.
 
The U12 team take on Curry at home this Tuesday at 6.30PM – please support.
 
There was no winner of the lotto last weekend – the numbers drawn were 11,14,16, 24 – the jackpot now stands at €1,300 with the next draw in Des McDonaghs on Sat 2nd August.
 
Best of luck to Sligo U16's who take on Offaly in the Fr Manning Cup final this Wednesday at 8PM in Longford – there are four Gaels players involved – Darragh Hailstones, Enda O'Connell, Daire Kearns and Daniel Murphy – please support if you can.
