Well done to the Intermediate team who had a 1-9 to 0-6 win over Easkey in the Championship last weekend. The team was Donal Tuohy, Keith McMorrow, Paul Higgins, Paul Brennan, Gavin McMorrow, Frank Quinn, Niall Henry, Joe Henry (1-0), Liam O'Connell, Derrick Davey (0-1), Paddy O'Grady, Ciaran O'Connor, Keith Candon (0-1), David Quinn (0-7, 3f), Michael Hannon, subs Colin Harte for G McMorrow, Shane Barry for C O'Connor. They now take on St Michaels next Saturday at 5PM in Collooney.
 
The Junior team lost 4-12 to 1-6 to Owenmore Gaels in the Championship last Sunday. The team was: Rickie Johnston, Declan Willis, Raymond Murrin, Geraoid McTiernan, Robbie Johnston, Diarmuid Jinks, Noel Jinks, Eoin McDermott, Eoin O'Connell, Liam Tuohy,  Johnny Kenny, Liam Tuohy, Enda Foley, Niall McDermott, Conor Carroll, Subs: Michael Tonry for C Carroll, Calvin Flynn for N McDermott. They now take on St Marys next Friday in the Championship.
 
The minor team had a big 8-14 to 0-8 win over Eastern Harps last Thursday while the U12 team lost 0-12 to 0-8 to Curry also last Thursday.
 
The U14 team got their  championship back on track with a 6-19 to 1-3 win over Curry last Friday.
 
The U16 girls narrowly lost 3-7 to 6-2 to Geevagh last week. The team was:- Meabh Mc Dermott, Eilis O'Connor, Sheona Leydon, Ailish Benson, Lisa Callaghan, Chloe Mc Tiernan (1-1), Rachel Boyd (1-0) Joanne Johnston (0-1), Sarah Walsh, Lauren O'Sullivan, Chloe Merrick (1-0), Subs: Sinead McGovern, Mairead Tuohy (0-3), Makayla Henry (0-2), Erin O'Sullivan.
 
The U12 girls get their championship campaign underway on Monday 18th away to Tourlestrane.
There was no winner of the lotto last week – the numbers drawn were 1, 14, 25, 30, There was 2 match 3 winners – Kay Hannon and Sean Niland. The next draw is in McTiernans Gleann on 30th August when the jackpot will be €1,500.
 
The Club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Fr Donal Cassidy, Glasgow and formerly of Ballymote who died recently. The club also wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Nuala Bornemann, Cork and formerly of Castlebaldwin and Alison Gately of Corigeenroe who died at the weekend.
