The under 16 team had a comfortable win over Naomh Eoin in the semi final of the championship by 1-17 to 0-5. They will play Coolera/ Strandhill in the final on Monday, Sept. 8th in Markiecivz Park.The under 14 team play Drumcliffe/ Rosses Point in the semi final of the championship this week.
Well done to all our club players who were in action with the county under 14 and 16 teams in Newry on Saturday last.A great days hurling was had by all.
The club host the Stephen Tempany Hurling Tournament in St. Farnan`s Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6th. Under 14 teams from Sligo, Donegal, Roscomon and Galway will compete for the Cup. Any help from parents and supporters would be greatly appreciated, in particular help with catering, donations of food etc. A great day`s hurling is expected. All welcome.
