Sligo senior hurling is entering the business end of the season following
fixtures over this past weekend. In the Dermot Molloy Hurling League
semi-finals Tourlestrane had a win over Manorhamilton/Cluainin on Fri. evening
in the first semi-final while Calry/St. Jospeh’s had a win over Western
Gaels in the second semi-final on Sun. The date for the DMHL league final has yet
to be firmed up. On Sat. next both senior hurling championship semi-finals will take
place in Tourlestrane. The first fixture at 3pm sees last year’s finalists Calry
and Coolera-Strandhill do battle to reach the final while the second semi-final at 5pm sees local
club Tourlestrane take on Western Gaels. We wish all four teams every success
on the coming weekend
