The Intermediate team will face Bunninadden in the Championship semi-final on the weekend of 27th Sept.
 
The Junior team went down 4-17 to 2-12 to Owenmore Gaels in the semi-final of the A Championship. It has been a good year for the Junior team with a significant amount of players lining out at various stages – thanks to Manager Martin Nealon and Selector Liam Brennan for their work with the team this year.
 
The Minor team lost to St Michaels in the B Championship semi-final last week. Thanks to Joe Quinn, Paul Higgins and Cormac Kearns for their work with the team this year.
 
The U16 Boys had an impressive 1-15 to 1-8 win over Easkey in the A Championship play off last Tuesday. The team was:- Conor Heffernan, Paul Harrington, Ben Tuohy, Conor McGrievy, Andy Flynn (0-1), Patrick Benson, Alan Kelly, Enda O'Connell, Daniel Murphy (0-1), Daire Kearns (0-2), Darragh Hailstones (1-7, 6f), Karl McKenna (0-1), Luke Flynn, Cian McDermott (0-2), Conal McCormack. Subs: Seamus Hailstones for C McCormack, Steven Willis (0-1) for L Flynn, Emmett Doyd for C McGrievy, Dylan Willis for Karl McKenna.
 
The girls U16 team defeated Curry 3-6 to 0-13 in the Championship semi-final last Tuesday with a great second half performance winning by 2 points after being 7 down at half time. The team was: Maebh McDermott, Sheona Leyden, Eilis O'Connor, Lisa Callaghan, Aoife Morrisroe, Ailish Benson, Chloe McTiernan (1-2), Rachel Boyd (1-1), Sarah Walsh (0-1), Joanne Johnston, Roisin Kearns, Sinead McGovern (0-1), Ciara Kelly. Subs Used: Keeva McDermott, Makayla McLoughlin, Mairead Tuohy (1-1), Katy McCann. They now take on Geevagh in the final.
 
The U14 Boys had a big win over St Maloise Gaels last Friday in the A Championship. They now take on Eastern Harps at home on Friday 26th Sept.
 
There was no winner of the lotto last week. The numbers drawn were 7, 8, 9 and 24. The jackpot is now €1,700 with the next draw in Hartes on 27th September.
 
The Sligo Ladies County Board is seeking Managers and Trainers for the 2015 County Teams (U14, U16, Minor & Adult teams). All interested parties are asked to apply in writing to the County Secretary, Susan Finan (ladiessecretarysligo@gmail.com) before the 6th October 2014
 
The Club wish to express sympathy with Brid Fallon and Feehily family on the death of their mother Kathleen last week and with the family and relatives of Mai Crann, Riverstown who also died last week.
