The minor boys team had a fantastic victory over St. Michaels in the final of the B championship on Saturday in Markievicz Park on a score line of 1-11 to 0-12. Well done to the boys on a brilliant performance.

U12 hurlers competed in the Aodh O Dalaigh tournament in Ballyshannon on Sunday and although they lost their opening two games to Easkey and Keady they rallied with victories over the hosts Ballyshannon and Manorhamilton to qualify for the shield final against Tuam.   Although behind 2-3 to 0-3 at half time the team never gave up and held Tuam scoreless in the second half and despite scoring 2 points and hitting the crossbar could not get across the line to claim victory. Both teams were clapped off the pitch for providing such a great game of hurling. Next game is against Calry on Tues in Oxfield at 6.15pm.

Good luck to the minor girls next Sunday when they face Eoghan Rua in the final of the A championship. The game takes place in Tubbercurry with throw-in at 1.45pm.
