Congratulations to our U-16 boys team and management made up of Leo Gaughan, David Bailey and Eamonn Durkin, on becoming County U-16 League and Championship winners. The team were crowned championship winners on Tuesday last in Markievicz Park when they overcame Bunninadden on a score of 6-12 to 2-11. After the game, team captain, Liam Gaughan accepted the cup on behalf of the team. It is a huge achievement for any team to win both cups, well done to all involved.

Our Senior Hurlers put up a gallant fight against Western Gaels in the championship semi final on Saturday last but unfortunately came up short by the minimal when they lost on a score of 2-11 to 1-12. Credit to the players and management who have worked very hard throughout the season resulting in some excellent results this year.

Our Senior men bowed out of the Sligo Senior Championship on Sunday last when they lost out to neighbours, Tubbercurry on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-13 points. The team play St. Molaise Gaels in the last round of the league in Tourlestrane on Friday at 8.30pm.

The club would like to wish Stephen Henry a speedy recovery from a bad injury picked up last week during training.

Our Junior B team had a good win over St. Mary's in the championship on Friday last. The team won 2-20 to 1-5. The team play Eastern Harps in the second group game in Kesh at 12pm on Sunday.

Our Minors play St. Farnan's in the final of the A2 Championship on Saturday the 4th of October at 1pm in Markievicz Park. Having lost to St. Farnan's in the last round of the group stages, the team fought very hard and overcame Curry in an excellent display in the semi final. Your support, again, would be very much appreciated.

Our U-14 boys lost to St. Farnan's  in round 5 of the A2 championship on Friday last on a score of 2-16 to 3-10. The team have qualified for the champioship Semi Final which will take place in Tourlestrane on Sunday at 11am against the same opposition.

Best of luck to our Minors involved with St. Attracta's CS when they take on Roscommon CBS in round 1 of the Connacht A Championship on Wednesday, the 1st of October, at 12.30pm at St. Attracta's.
