CELEBRATING CURRY GAA
50TH Championship Football Win: A very special
weekend takes place this Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th Its a celebration and reunion of the Senior
Football Curry Team of 1964 who won the County Senior Championship Football
Final. A meet and greet will take place at the GAA Pitch at 3-30pm on Saturday
Afternoon October 11th followed by a game between the 2003 winning
Curry senior team and the Curry 2012 winning team as part of the 1964 Reunion
weekend. A function will take place in The Yeats
County Inn Hotel that night at 8pm. There will be a Mass for all members and
deceased members on Sunday morning at 11:30am in the Church of the Immaculate
Conception, Curry The 1964 team will then travel to Markieviez Park for the
Senior County Football Final where the Team will be presented to match
supporters. It promises to be a lovely weekend for people to meet and share
their memories and also remember those who have passed away. A number of those
living overseas are coming for the event along with extended family and big
welcome is awaiting them all.

Tickets are on sale for 1964 Reunion Dinner in The Yeats County Inn from
any club officer, they cost €15.
