Four in a Row!
Our Hurlers won a remarkable Fourth County Title in a row on Sunday last when they emphatically defeated Western Gaels by 4.14 to 0.03.
Although the Westerners opened the scoring, this game was always going in one direction with early goals from Man of the Match Kevin Gilmartin paving the way for the victory. The full forward ended up with a personal tally of 3.03 with Thomas Kelly chipping in with the other goal. Keith Raymond struck over a remarkable nine scores, six frees with Ronan Cox getting a great point from way out the field.  Great credit to the team and Management who now set out on another Connacht journey to try and defend their Connacht Title.
The Parish is a wash with Blue and Yellow at the moment and well done to the volunteers who decorated it so well.  Flags and all kinds of  Club merchandise can be bought at Regional stores Ballinode, Davey's Hazelwood and Centra Cartron Pt. And remember that by purchasing any Club mechandise in these shops, you are contributing to your club. In light of our participation in Two Finals, we are running a "Best Billboard" competition for our 3 National Schools. These billboards can be seen on Connaughton Rd, Cartron Cross and Ballinode. Pictures of the Billboards can be viewed on our Facebook Page and the winners wil be decided by the most "Likes and Shares". The Kennedys Intermediate Final throws in at 4pm next Sunday 19th October.
Please come on in and roar the lads on to victory.

Well done to everyone who took part in the annual Hugh McLoughlin tournament at Hazelwood last Saturday. There was an exceptional turnout and well done to the organisers and great fun was had by all!

Finally well done to all the Club members and friends who braved the grounds of Temple House last Saturday to take part in "Hell and Back"
