Sympathies are extended to the Branley family in Cloonmull and to the McMullen family in Coolbeg following their recent bereavements.

Congrats to our club member Peter Greene who was elected as Sligo GAA’s new Treasurer for 2015 at last week’s Annual Convention. Peter is a former Fermanagh intercounty  footballer who, in recent times, has been a key driving force behind the stabilising of Sligo GAA’s fundraising efforts. This has included a very successful re-launch of Club Sligo. We wish Peter every success in his new role.

The Oxfield Community & Leisure Centre Committee hosted a very successful Santa Wonderland day last Sunday. The event attracted a big crowd from across the Drumcliffe-Rosses Point community.

The club’s End of Year function takes place on Sunday, December 28th in the Yeats Tavern, Drumcliffe. The Player of the Year awards will be revealed on the evening as well as the Clubperson of the Year for 2014. Keep an eye on our website drp.gaa.ie and facebook page for further details.

Tickets are still on sale for the GAA National Club Draw 2015. All the proceeds from the sale of these tickets stay with the sellingclub. The impressive prize list includes a trip to New York as well as All-Ireland hurling and football final corporate packages. Tickets are €10 and are available from any executive member.  For more information, contact club Treasurer Gerard Carroll.

If you have news items for inclusion next week, contact the Drumcliffe Rosses Point PRO Austin O’Callaghan on 087 6855621.
