Club membership fees are now due. The rates for 2015 are as follows:under 8,10,12,14 and 16 players- €30; minor,junior and senior players-€50; non players:€20; family membership -€150. All players must pay the membership fee.It is advisable that all parents become members of the club as membership entitles one to attend club meetings and to vote at an A.G.M. Membership also ensures entry into various draws run by the club during the year. Membership should be paid by February 21st and those who have paid by that date will be entered into a draw with €100 in prizes. So please pay your membership early!
The club was well represented at Sligo Scór na nÓg table quiz on Sunday last. Two teams represented the club. Stephen Mulligan, Patrick O`Connor, Eamonn Kilgannon and Donall Hanley were on team one whilst Cahan Hallinan, Darren Hallinan, Fionn Connolly and Keelan Kilrehill were on team two.Stephen, Patrick, Eamonn and Donall won second place and silver medals. This was the club`s second year in a row to narrowly miss out on a place in the All Ireland Final!The quiz was won by Coolera/ Strandhill. Cahan, Darren, Keelan and Fionn competed very well for their first time in the competition.Thanks to all who helped in preparation for the quiz.Attention now focusses on senior Scór which is scheduled for March 7th.
