Senior Men
An understrength senior men's team were beaten by St Mary’s in Round 2 of the Kiernan Cup on Saturday on a score of 2-6 to 0-7.  The game was played in Oxfield in very testing conditions.  Best for the home side were John McGowan, Dara Long, Stephen Regan, Sean Peyton, John Harvey, Niall Collery and Niall Canning.  Congratulations to Ronan McCormack who made his competitive debut for the senior team when coming on a sub in the second half.  Ronan acquitted himself very well and will no doubt be an important member of the senior panel for many years to come.
