On Thursday 14th of May the County final of the Sligo GAAmigos Primary schools skills competition took place in Summerhill college. 5 Boys and 5 Girls teams battled it out to win a prize of a set of Jerseys sponsored by Club Sligo for their school.

Castlerock, Ballinacarrow, Gaelscoil Cnoc na Re, Calry and Kilglass took part in the boys section. This was very closely contested with wonderful skill levels being showed by all five schools. The winners of this years Boys competition was Calry NS.

Scoil Ursula, Cliffoney, Moylough, Templeboy and Ballinacarrow competed for the Girls prize. Once again all schools showed great composure and skill as they carried out each skill. Scoil Ursula girls came out on top with an excellent final score. This is their first time to win the event.

Mark Breheny Sligo GAA Captain presented the schools with their winning certificates. Thank you very much Mark

All of the schools who took part this evening won a prize of a fun day out in the Connacht GAA Centre. This takes place on Monday June 15th. Hope you all have a great day there.
