Our minor Boys picked up silverware on Thursday night last with a fine win over Shamrock Gaels in the  A League Shield final at Scarden. Well done to the panel and management and the team now turn their focus for the rest of the season to the A championship.

Monday May 11th saw disappointment for our U16 Boys as they were defeated 1-10 to 1-08 by Eastern Harps in the A League final in Collooney. Congratulations to Harps who were deserving winners on the evening.

On  Wednesday evening May 13th our U8 and U10 Boys entertained St Mary's in the League and the homes sides all played extremely well with our U8's winning and the clubs sharing the honours in the U10 matches each winning one fixture. A busy evening's football was rounded off by our U12 Girls winning a thrilling fixture against Coolera by a point while the visitors took the honours in the U10 game. Underage coaching continues Saturday. Girls 10.00am to 11.00am and Boys 11.15am to 12.15pm.

Underage action over the coming week sees our U14 Boys at home to St Mary's this Friday May 22nd while on Tuesday next May 26th our two U12 Boys squads entertain neighbours Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at 7.00pm.

Last Friday night our senior team picked up two more league points with a comprehensive 3-11 to 1-04 win at home to St John's. A dominant full forward line of Gerard Brady, Keelan Waters and Niall Hoey accounted for 3-08 of the home sides tally. This Sunday May 24th the team are away to Curry at 2.00pm. Registration for all senior Players must be finalised before the end of this month. Players are not covered for insurance purposes if they are not registered.

We are still looking for Volunteers to help out with the Fortnightly Club Lotto. If anyone would be prepared to give two  hours of their time one weekend in every eight that would be a huge boost to our fundraising efforts. Anyone prepared to help out can contact Sean Herron or Thomas Kilfeather. Thank you to everyone for their support for this fundraiser. The next draw takes place  on next Monday night June May 25th  at 8.15pm. Jackpot now stands at 900 euro.

The monthly Club meeting also takes place next Monday night at 9.00pm.
