Sligo’s
U-15 development squad, under the tutelage of Sligo defender Ross Donovan,
excelled at a blitz held in Clare on Saturday, August 15th.
The
25-strong panel played games against three Munster sides – Clare, Limerick and
Kerry – and ended with a draw, a win and a loss.
Limerick
ended as one-point winners against Sligo in a tight but low-scoring encounter,
0-7 to 0-6, but the Yeats County bounced back to secure a 2-11 to 4-5 draw with
Clare and secured a notable win over Kerry in their third fixture (2-9, 1-6). Dónal
Brady and Keelan Watters were also members of the management team.
