The Intermediate Team drew 1-10 to 2-13 in the third round of the Championship against Castleconnor last Sunday. Having been seven points down at half time, two second half goals from Johnny Quinn and David Quinn revived the Gaels fortunes and they could have snatched a win, but had to settle for a draw. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Colin Harte, Paul Higgins (capt), Declan Willis, Paul Brennan, Frank Quinn, Conor Merrick, Joe Henry, James Lyons, Daire Kearns (0-1), Vincent Boyd (0-3), David Quinn (1-3), Johnny Quinn (1-1), Keith McMorrow, Keith Candon (0-2). Subs: Daniel Willis for D Kearns. They now take on St Marys away next Saturday at 6.30PM in the final group game.

The Juniors have now finished for the year and the club wish to thank the players and management of Enda Foley, Liam Brennan, Martin Baker, Martin Nealon and Anthony Connolly for their efforts this year.

The U16 team had an impressive 6-16 to 4-9 win over Tubbercurry in the Championship last Monday.

The U14 team went down 4-11 to 1-12 in the championship semi final against Eastern Harps in Keash last Friday. The game was in the balance all the way through until Eastern Harps pulled away in the last few minutes. The team and scores were Ryan Brennan, Darragh Heffernan, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Aaron McKenna, Patrick Kenny (0-1), Eoin Dywer, Niall McGovern, Sean Carroll, Shane McCann, Conor Kearns, Paul Leydon (0-9), Johnny Kenny, Brendan Hailstones (0-1), Darragh Kelly, Lee Deignan (1-0). Subs Eoin Dodd, Sean Mullen. This was the last game of the year for the U14's and the club wish to thank the management of Niall Kearns, Vincent Dwyer, Peter Coleman, Neil Fitzpatrick, Paul Harrington for their work during the year.

The U13 Feile team are at home to Coolera/Strandhill this Tuesday at 6.45PM.

The U16 Girls lost to St Marys in the first round of the Championship, despite a great second half comeback. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Aoife Morrisroe, Lisa Callaghan, Katy McCann, Jade Lyons (1-0), Sheona Leyden, Roisin Durey, Louise Merrick, Sarah Walsh, Rachel Boyd, Roisin Kearns, Makayla McLoughlin (3-2), Mairead Tuohy (0-2). Subs: Jane Benson, Aine Brennan. 

There was no winner of the lotto last week. The numbers drawn were 2, 5, 10, 27. The Jackpot now stands at €2,300.

The winners of the monthly draw were Fiona Lyons, Niall Kearns and John Cawley.

The club wish to express sympathy with Clare O’Neill , wife of Club secretary Chris on the death of her mother Bea Aggie McGovern, Glangevlin, Cavan.
