The Under 21 team took on Curry in the B championship quarterfinal on Friday night in very windy conditions and ran out winners with a score line of 0-8 to1-3, the team was K Luby, M Kelly, L Codd, P Mc Goldrick K Crawley R Healy G Mc Gowan (0-1), J Haran (0-2), T Delahunt K Carty(0-2), N Clancy J Mackey(0-3) K Gallagher. On Sunday evening they then went on to meet St Patricks but with missing a few chances at goal in the opening minutes of the game which if they had finished might have made a very different game of it St Patrick's ran out the stronger team with the final score ending 5-11 to 1-6 in favour of St Patrick's , the team was K Luby M Kelly P Mc Goldrick R Healy K Crawley J Haran G Mc Gowan O Gilmartin K Carty ((1-4) N Clancy T Delehunt J Mackey(0-2) C Harte
