The Club’s AGM takes place this Sunday evening, December 6th, in the Old School, Rathcormac, at 7pm. We’d like to encourage as many club members as possible to attend.

The club extends its appreciation to outgoing men’s senior football team manager Stephen Ward who has stepped down from the post. We’d like to thank Stephen for his commitment and dedication to the role during 2015 which helped ensure that the team retained its senior championship status for next year. The process to appoint a new manager is now underway.

Well done to the club players involved in Summerhill College’s 2-13 to 0-11 over St Gerald’s Castlebar in the Connacht Colleges league last Wednesday - a result which books Summerhill’s place in the league final.

Good luck to three of our ladies footballers - Orla McGowan, Rachel Monaghan and Amanda Healy - who are nominated for the Sligo Champion women’s Club All-Star Awards. The ceremony takes place this Saturday night in Sligo’s Radisson Blu Hotel. Tickets are still available for this event. Details are on our Facebook page.

The Oxfield Centre Committee will hold its popular annual Santa Wonderland event in Oxfield on Sunday, December 13th, from 2-5pm.

The entire club and wider community were deeply saddened by the sudden death of Amy Kapuruhamyge, pupil of Rathcormac NS, last week. The club extends its condolences to Amy’s parents, Nirmala and Anurudda, and extended family and friends at this time.

The club’s Family Table Quiz was postponed last weekend as a mark of respect. We hope to reschedule this event in the New Year.
