The senior team lost 2-16 to 0-14 to St Marys at the weekend. They now take on Coolera/Strandhill at home on Sunday 15th May. The Junior team are away to St Pats this Saturday 7th May at 7PM. 

The ladies Junior team lost to Curry in the league last Sunday. 

The Minor team had a comfortable 1-14 to 0-5 win over St Marys at home last Friday. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Paul Harrington, Ben Tuohy, Emmett Dodd, Alan Kelly, Enda O'Connell, Andy Flynn, Daire Kearns (0-1), Daniel Murphy (0-1), Karl McKenna (0-1), Darragh Hailstones (0-6), Luke Flynn (0-1), Darragh Merrick, Seamus Hailstones (0-1), Steven Willis (1-3). Subs: Cian McDermott for Daniel Lyons (inj). They take on Owenmore Gaels away this Friday 6th at 7PM.

The Girls U16 team continued their great run with a 2-8 to 0-5 win over Eoghan Rua last Monday. The scorers were: Rachel Boyd (0-1), Jane Benson (0-2), Makayla McLoughlin (1-1) Mariead Tuohy (1-3), Eba McCann (0-1). 

The Boys U16 team lost narrowly to Eastern Harps last Monday on a scoreline of 1-7 to 2-5. They now take on Coolera/Strandhill away on Monday 9th May at 7PM.

The Boys U14's take on Ballymote/Bunninadden away this Thursday 5th at 7PM.

There was no winner of the lotto was weekend. The numbers drawn were 13, 15, 17, 18. The jackpot now stands at €4,000 with the next draw on Saturday 7th in Sean Macs.

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Tommie O'Connell, Riverstown who died last week. Tommie played corner forward with Sooey on the 1949 winning Championship team and at corner back with the Knockalassa 1951 Junior winning team. He also represented Sligo st Senior level in the early fifties Ar Dheis De go raibh a anam. We also express sympathy with the family and relatives of Monsignor Austin McKeon, Tulsk and Sr Gabriel Keane, Longford both of whom died last week.
