Well done to the Senior Ladies who
had a great win this morning against Molaise Gaels on a scoreline of 5-16 to
2-4. A great overall team performance which gives us two wins from three in the
league.
It was a disappointing weekend for
the Men’s teams in Division Two and Division Four. The Division Two side mad
the long journey to Enniscrone/Kilglass on Saturday where they came out the
wrong side of a 4-12 to 0-9 scoreline. The Division Four side then travelled to
Calry on Sunday where they unfortunate to lose on a scoreline of 5-12 to 1-9.
The Division Two side have a week off but the Division Four side face
Coolaney/Mullinabreena next Saturday.
The U16s hosted a strong Tubbercurry
side on Friday night where they cam up short in what is turning out to be a
very competitive U16 A League. The suffered a 5-10 to 1-16 loss to the
Southsiders.
The u12s continued their fantastic
campaigned as they put Enniscrone/Kilglass to the sword in Enniscrone last
Tuesday April 26th.
The U8’s and U10’s are also in action
this week as they make the journey to Castleconnor on Wednesday evening.
The U14s are in action this Thursday
as they face Coolaney Mullinabreena in Bunninadden. They will be hoping to
rebound from their opening round defeat to St Mary’s.
The Minors will be hoping to get
their league campaign back on track as they play host to Shamrock Gaels in
Connolly park on Friday evening.
Saturday morning coaching
catering for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 12 continues this
Saturday morning and every Saturday for summer, 10:30-11:30am at Connolly Park.
