Intermediate

There was disappointment for our intermediate footballers last Sunday when Easkey emerged as three point winners at Quigabar in a keenly-contested Division Two clash, 1-10 to 3-7. The concession of sloppy goals was a source of real frustration for our lads, though a decent second half performance gave reason for optimism. Easkey led 1-6 to 0-3 at the break but our lads fought back in the second half despite being without a whole host of regulars for a variety of reasons. Next Sunday afternoon the team travel to Oxfield for a meeting with Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at 2pm.

Minor

The minor team play St Patrick’s in a rearranged league fixture at home this Wednesday evening. Please support the lads in this important game. Throw-in is at 7pm. The lads will also compete in a 7-aside blitz next Friday evening in Corballa against other west Sligo teams.

U-16

The U-16 boys play Coolaney/Mullinabreena at 7pm on Monday evening (May 23rd) at 7pm in Cloonacool.

U-14

Our U-14s suffered defeat away to St Michael’s last Thursday evening. They have a break now until June 2nd. Training continues this week.

U-12

Our U-12s play St Patrick’s at home on Tuesday evening at 7pm in their final league game. Good luck to everyone involved.

U-6/U-8/U-10

Training continues for our youngest players on Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Child Protection course

There will be a child protection course for club members on Monday evening (May 23rd) at 7.30pm in the Diamond Coast Hotel. All underage coaches are required to attend.

Cúl Camp

A reminder to parents that if you register your child/children for the Kelloggs Cúl Camp at Quigabar in July before 31st May, they will get their gear delivered to their school in June. We are looking forward to a great week again this year.

Congrats

Congratulations to all the children who made their First Holy Communion in Kilglass and Enniscrone over the past two weekends from Kilglass, Culleens and Enniscrone national schools.

Congrats also to Michael John Crean and Kevin Caffrey on their recent engagements from everyone at the club.

Blotto

There was no winner of last Saturday’s blotto jackpot. The next draw is next Saturday night as usual. Your support is greatly appreciated.
