The men's team recorded a win against Eastern Harps away in Keash. The home team started better are were 1-3 to no score up after 10 ten minutes. But our lads battled back to go in 2 points down at half time. The game seemed to be getting away until a final burst in last ten minutes got the teams back level before Hughie Marren got the all important goal. The final score was 1-12 points to 1-10 Team lined out: Niall Brennan, Ciaran McIntyre, Niall McCarrick, Chris Cunnie, Kevin Gallagher, Padraig Murtagh, Jack McIntyre, Jason Brennan, Fergus Leonard, Gerard Mullarkey, Hughie Marren, Damien Sweeney, James Armstrong, John McVann, Ronan Leonard. 


U 6 8 10 played St Pats on Wednesday evening last in what was another enjoyable night. Thanks to St Pats for making the journey.  They will play at half time of ladies match as part of centenary celebrations. All kids to be there before 3 on Saturday.


Under 12's Playing St John's in Stenson park Tuesday 24. St John's can only field first team, training on Friday 7-8 gum shields must be worn for an all games and training.

U14s put on a brilliant performance only to come up one point short versus a talented Shamrock Gaels team in Coola on Thursday. It was a case of what might have been with a string of saves by the Gaels keeper and both posts coming to their rescue number of times.

Minors lost to St Farnans on Friday evening on a scoreline of 2-9 to 3-11. No matches for next few weeks. Good luck to lads doing exams. 

Also a reminder that the club is gearing up for a big weekend to mark the celebrations of the centenary. The centenary book has being finished and will be launched on Friday 27 of May and a full programme on Saturday the 28th of May. It all kicks off with townland Olympics at 2pm. There is a ladies match afterwards. The U-6/8/10 will play a match at half time. Next is a charity match in aid of Ronald McDonald. The winning 97 Intermediate team against the winning minor team of 99. After this the Senior team have a home game against Shamrock Gaels at 6. Tickets for main celebrations on Saturday night are on sale now from Fergus Leonard, Geraldine Conboy and Brid Calvey. This will take place in a specially erected marquee at the community centre.
