Tom Brennan, RuairĂ­ Brennan, Peadar Leonard, Gavin Feely, Declan Loughnane, and Patrick Burke will represent the club in Croke Park on Saturday next in the Lory Meagher Cup Final. The club would like to wish the Sligo Hurling team and management the very best of luck in Saturday's decider, against Louth, especially to our own clubmen. The game throws-in at 1.30pm in Croke Park. 

The fixtures for our U-14 Girls Feile Finals Journey 2016 has been made. Our team will be hosted by Kanturk, Co. Cork and have been grouped with Kanturk, Killshannig and Clonguish. The girls will play Clonguish in their opening game at 5.45pm on Friday the 24th of June followed by another game on the same evening at 6.30pm against Killshannig. The teams final game of the group stages will take place on Saturday morning, the 25th of June when they take on hosts, Kanturk. 

Our U-12 girls overcame Drumcliffe/Rosses Point by the minimum of margins in an extremely close encounter in the League Semi Final on Sunday. The team previously overcame St. Nathy's in the quarter final. The team have shown great spirit and determination throughout their league campaign and now look forward to their county final this Tuesday the 31st of May in Ransboro.

Our U-16 girls team have started their league campaign brightly with wins over Drumcliffe and St. Mary's in recent weeks. The team came up short agaisnt Shamrock Gaels in their latest fixture but hope to put this game behind them with upcoming games against Eastern Harps and Eoghan Rua. The club would like to wish speedy recoverys to Ellen Bailey and Sarah Cunney who picked up injuries recently. 

Our Division 4 team had a well earned win over St. Molaise Gael's, 4-10 to 2-11, in round 4 of the league on Sunday in Tourlestrane. The team play Calry/St Joseph's at 7pm on Saturday at home in their next fixture. 

Our Senior Men competed in the Noel McHale Memorial Footballs 7's in Knockmore on Sunday last. 
The team kick off their Kiernan Cup league when they play Tubbercurry this weekend in Kilcoyne Park. The team are also due to play in the Leo Kenny Cup on Tuesday the 7th of June. 

Our U-8/U-10 team host Eastern Harps this Wednesday at 7pm in round 5 of their league campaign. 

The U-14 boys team continue in the league when they play round 6 against St. Farnan's at 7pm on Thursday the 2nd of June. Having played 5 rounds, the team sit in 3rd place of the Divison 2 league, recording wins over St. John's and Enniscore/Kilglass and sharing the spoils with Calry/St. Joseph's in the opening game of the league.

The Tractor Drive which was due to take place in April will now take place on Sunday the 19th of June in memory of Paul Walsh (RIP). All proceeds of the Drive will be going to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust in memory of Paul. Registration take place on the day at 11am with the cost of entry been €20 per vechicle and all vechicles will depart Rhue at 12pm. All vintage cars, tractors and motorbikes are welcome. 

The club are looking into running a Cardiac Screening Programme if there is interest within the club. It is a Doctor-led Cardiac Screening service to clubs, schools & companies nationwide. The service is ultimately aimed at reducing the incidents of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) in Ireland and promoting a healthy lifestyle. 
In accordance with international best practice the Cardiac Screening includes:
• A Personal & Family History Questionnaire
• A Medical Examination with a Doctor
• Lifestyle Assessment
• Blood Pressure measurement
• Obesity Screening 
• 12 Lead Electrocardiogram (ECG)
• Consultant Cardiologist review and report
Each screening takes 20 minutes andthe service can screen 45 per day. Their minimum number is 22. They screen individuals from age 12+. The individual fee for the Cardiac Screening service is €65. *People with LAYA health insurance are able to avail of screening for FREE. People with other health insurance may be able to claim a % back at the end of the year.

Bingo at Banada Abbey every Tuesday 8.30pm.  Snowball Game is at €1,900 on 45 calls next Tuesday and the Lotto is at €240.  Extra €290 on offer on lucky No 3  in Game 3. 

Some of the underage competitions have now come to a break with the upcoming exams. The club would like to wish all our players the very best of luck with their respective Leaving and Junior Certificate exams starting on Wednesday the 8th of June.
