WIN FOR DRUMCLIFFE ROSSES POINT SENIORS
Furey's Coaches SFL Division 2 result:
Drumcliffe/Rosses Point 3-19 Enniscrone/Kilgass 1-6.

The seniors resumed their Division 2 campaign with an emphatic win over an understrength Enniscrone/Kilglass at Oxfield on Sunday. Despite missing a number of regulars, DRP built up a 0-9 to 0-3 first half lead with Ógie Murphy and Brian Monaghan doing very well at midfield. The full-back line of Jude McGarry, Stephen Regan and Aaron McCormack gave precious little away and these areas laid the foundations for the win.

We struck for goals early in the second half through Niall Collery, Jamie Gillen and Kevin Davey, which were key to putting the game beyond Enniscrone's reach at an early stage.

The result moves DRP onto 14 points in the league table, one behind Bunninadden and Geevagh. The league now takes a break until after Sligo's Connacht Championship semi-final against Roscommon on June 11th.
Our remaining two league matches are against our two main promotion rivals (Geevagh & Bunninadden) so an important few weeks lie ahead.
