The Senior team lost 4-11 to 0-12 against Tourlestrane in the final of the Kiernan Cup last weekend. The team was: Donal Tuohy, Colin Harte, Paul Higgins, Declan Willis, Daire Kearns (0-1), Keith McMorrow, Ciaran O'Connor (0-1), Conor Merrick, Joe Henry, Darragh Hailstones (0-1), Derek Davey, Vinnie Boyd (0-2), Joe Quinn (0-4), David Quinn (0-2), Johnny Quinn (0-1). Subs: Keith Candon for D Quinn, Andy Flynn for C O'Connor, James Lyons for P Higgins (inj), Daniel Murphy for C Harte, Liam Tuohy for C Merrick. Best wishes to Captain Paul Higgins who sustained an injury in the game and we wish him a speedy recovery. 

The Senior team take on Calry/St Josephs at home next Sunday 24th July at 12.00AM in the final league game.

The Minor team take on Tubbercurry away next Wednesday 20th July at 7.30PM in the quarter final of the Div 1 League.

The U16 team had a comprehensive 6-16 to 1-3 win over Tubbercurry in the semi final of the Div 1 League. The team was: Ultan McKenna, Shane McCann, Evan Lyons, Dylan Burke, Christain Monaghan (0-1), Patrick Benson (1-0), Bryan Johnston, Sean Carroll, James Carroll (0-2), Dylan Willis (1-2), Seamus Hailstones (1-0), Paul Leyden (0-4), Michael Barry, Shane Deignan (2-3), Daniel Lyons (1-3). Subs: Adrian Benson for D Burke, Dillon McDermott for M Barry, Ryan Fitzpatrick (0-1) for C Monaghan, Brendan Hailstones for D Lyons, Cian Johnston for D Wilis, Ryan Brennan for S McCann. 

They now play Eastern Harps in the final on Monday 18th July at 6.30PM in Markievicz Park. 

The U14 team lost the Div 1 Shield Final to a much stronger Drumcliffe/Rosses Point last Friday evening.

The U12 teams had mixed fortunes against Eastern Harps with the Div 1 team winning on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-3 while the Div 3 team lost on a scoreline of 0-24 to 0-5.

The Ladies Junior team drew with Curry last Sunday in the Championship, having been four points up with minutes to go, the Gaels were unable to hold on and had to settle for a draw. They now play St Molaise Gaels in the final group game.

Well done to the Girls U16 team who had a great 4-3 to 2-3 win over Tourlestrane in the semi-final of the League last Thursday.

The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Phil Scanlon, Castlebaldwin who died last week.
