Intermediate
Our
intermediate team play St Patrick’s in the Intermediate Championship
quarter-finals next Sunday evening at 6.15pm in Castleconnor. Best of luck to
the players and management in this important fixture - please support the lads
as they bid to reach the semi-final.
Minor
The
Enniscrone/Kilglass-Easkey minor team advanced to the semi-finals of the A
Championship with an impressive 1-19 to 0-9 defeat of Eastern Harps in Keash
last Thursday evening. 0-8 to 0-5 ahead at the break, the lads dominated the
second half with Ciaran O’Dowd’s goal helping the team to a good win. They play
Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in the semi-final this Friday evening at 6.45pm in
Kilcoyne Park, Tubbercurry. Please support.
U-16
Our U-16s
bowed out of the championship in very disappointing circumstances on Monday
evening after a one-point loss to St Farnan’s at Quigabar, 4-4 to 2-11. This
was a well below-par display by the lads and a difficult loss to take. While
losing at this early stage in the championship is disappointing for everyone
involved considering they won titles at U-12 and U-14, the panel showed well
throughout the year and will hope to get back on track at minor level. Thanks
to players, parents and management for their efforts this year.
