On Sunday the club held a u-6, 8 and 10 blitz at Connolly Park. Undeterred by the horrible weather we had a fantastic turnout with teams from Coolaney/Mullinabreena, St.Michaels and St.Johns taking part. The event was a wonderful success which was down to a lot of preparation over the past few weeks. Huge thanks to all who helped out, from the respective teams coaches to the girls in the kitchen and all those who donated food for a splendid buffet! Big thanks to our referee's, Mark Walsh, Justin Gilmartin, Colm Gunning and David Dillon. Special thanks to Clare Cashman and Janice Doherty from the Bord na nOg who came up with and were chief organisers of today's event. Also Anthony Sweeney, Martin Cannon and Jude Mannion who did trojan work in preparing pitches etc. A great day and a credit to the club well done all.

The Lotto draw took place on Monday last in the Owenmore Inn. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 27, and 31. No jackpot winner, congrats to match 3 winner Brian Giblin who scoops €100 Next draw 3rd October in Connolly’s Bar for €10,000 jackpot

The U-16 Boys B Championship Final Replay will take place this Thursday 29th September at 6pm at The Centre of Excellence. After an entertaining battle in the final the boys could use all of your support in what promises to be another cracker.

Congrats to the u16 girls who were victorious over St Mary’s on Wednesday evening inn their A2 championship semi final. There final date will be confirmed at a later date.
