Congratulations to our Minor Boys who were crowned Sligo Minor B County Champions 2016. The team overcame Coolera/Strandhill in the Championship final on Friday night last on a scoreline of 6-7 to 1-4.  The team led at the half time break, 3-7 to 0-1 and despite a gallant effort from the Coolera/Strandhill outfit, our team pushed on in the second half to come away with a great victory.

Congratulations to our Divison 4 mens team who were the second team of the weekend to bring home a championship title. The team overcame St. John's in Buninnadden on Sunday with a 3-18 to 1-12 victory over the Sligo Town side. Having led at half time 2-9 to 1-7, the team scored a further 1-9 in the second half to secure the title.

A total of 43 players were used during this league campaign. Congratulations to all involved.The team take on St. Michaels in the Junior A Championship Final on Sunday the 9th of October. 

The countdown is on for the County Senior Championship Final 2016. For the first time in 3 years, our Senior Men's team will compete in the final when they take on 2015 Champions, St. Mary's. The game throws in at 4pm in Markievicz Park and we are asking all our supporters to come out and support the team in their quest to bring the Owen B home to Tourlestrane.  Best of luck to our team and management. 

3 Championship Finals for our Ladies teams in the coming weeks following on for our fantastic U-12 Girls Double A triumph!

Our U-14 Girls have qualified for the Sligo Ladies A Championship Final. The game takes place in 2 weeks time when the team play 2016 League Winners St Mary's.

Our U-16 Girls have also qualified for the Sligo Ladies A U-16 Championship final after a 3-3 to 1-5 victory over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Monday night. The team are awaiting confirmation of who their opposition are, date and venue.

Our Minor Girls have also qualified for the Sligo Ladies Championship Final. The game will take place in Enniscrone on Sunday the 23rd of October.

With a number of big occasions coming up, a limited number of flags, bunting, car flags are for sale from Club Secretary Amanda Walsh. A limited number of Adult Tourlestrane hoodies and both kids and adult jerseys are also available.
