meeting
The January
club meeting was held last Wednesday in the clubroom. Among the items discussed
on a full agenda were the upcoming Boston Tea Party; Fundraising – Membership, Sponsorship, Lotto; Player insurance; Team entries at the various
age groups; Girls football; Club Website and Database and the 30 year
Celebration Booklet.

Party
Patrons are
reminded to book their tickets early for the social event of the year in our
parish – The St Johns Annual Boston Tea Party which takes place on Sat Jan 28th @ 8pm in the Radisson Hotel, Ballincar.
Music is by The Freelancers and tickets are very reasonably priced at E20 for a
night of good food, friendship and dancing – a night not-be-missed

The next lotto
draw for a Jackpot of E10,200 will take place on Sat 21st . Be sure
to get your ticket for this great prize at Mc Morrow’s Shop, Cairns Rd; Blue Lagoon, Riverside; Canning’s House and Garden, Cornageeha; Molly Fultons Restaurant, Carraroe; Clifford’s Electrical, Carraroe and The

Present and
former St Johns club members are asked to pass on memorabilia on the club they
may have stored away over the last 30 years. Maybe you have photos from one of
the many memorable Feile trips to Kerry, Mayo or Donegal or were you part of
one of the many squads who captured County or Connacht titles and that
presentation photo is still hanging up. If so please let us use this material

North-West Cup
Congratulations
to the Sligo U21 team and especially our club man Paul Mc Namara on their
recent victories over Donegal and Mayo – Hopefully it is a sign of good things
to come this year. Well Done.
