Sympathy is extended to the family, relations, and friends of the late Teresa McCarrick of Carnaleck who went to her eternal reward last week. Sympathy is also extended to the families, relatives and friends of the late Sheila Connolly of Calry and England and the late Sheila Lawrence Loughill and the U.S.A. who passed away recently.The 8th Annual Cloonacool G.A.A. road race will be held on Sunday 12th February at 12 noon. The race will start at the community park Cloonacool. Runners, Joggers and walkers are all very welcome.Entry on the day starts from 10.30 am at the G.A.A. pitch and the entry fees are 10 euro for adults, 5 euro for children and 25 euro for a family. There will be changing room and shower facilities available, with refreshments afterwards. Car parking will be supervised by club supporters.

The course is flat, fast, and AAI permitted as well as Jones counter measured.Their will be prizes awarded for the 1st. 3 men, 1st. 3 women 1st. local man and the first local woman, also 1st. Secondary and 1st. National school runner.This is a great family day out, enjoying good healthy outdoor exercise, and the whole community are asked to come out in strength and support Cloonacool G.A.A. club this now annual fund raising venture.
