Coaching.
Coaching for u6/8/10 boys and girls continue on Friday evenings from 7-8 under the watchful eyes of Tom Brouder,Sean Davey,John Brennan,Ger Roache,Paul O Donnell and Hugh O Boyle. Numbers are improving steadily every week and if you know any kids/parents in the community who would like to get involved please invite them along or alternatively pass their name on to the coaches. It's a great way to get to know new people in the community. A large percentage of the coaches in the club at the moment are new to the area over the last few years and can all remember their first introduction to the club.
Our u12s continue to make steady progress under coaches Michael Kelly and Brian Henry(Tubber)and Dessie Haran and Martin Skeffington(Cloonacool). With two teams everyone is getting plenty of game time. Coaching continues for them on Thursday nights.
Now that our u14s have got their first win of the season with a very good performance against Shamrock Gaels away let's hope they can keep the run going with two fixtures in quick succession against Enniscrone(home) and Calry(away). With a decent size panel it is vital that all players make every effort to be at training. Training under Pat Gilmartin and Kieran Clarke takes place this week on Monday eve at 7 in Tubber.
Our u16s have got back on track after losing to Molaise Gaels a few weeks back. Coaches David Curran(Tubber) and Bill Carty, Kieran McIntyre and Shane Gallagher(Cloonacool) inform us that training is going very well at the moment. Their next fixture is away to Geevagh/St. Michaels.
Our minors are working very hard under coaches Ray Kilcoyne(Tubber) and Fergus Leonard and Sean o Dowd(Cloonacool).
While results haven't being going their way so far we hope that their luck will change and they start to show their true potential. They are away to Molaise Gaels this Monday.
Our seniors continued their run of good form with a victory over Shamrock Gaels  in the KCup. While missing a number of players they put in a very good first half of football leading 1-10 to 5 at half. They struggled somewhat in the second half only registering 2 points but finally ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-10.

Congratulations.
Everyone in the club would like to extend congratulations to our midfield maestro Steven Gilmartin who got engaged to Aine Waters. Best of luck to the happy couple.

Sligo.
Best of luck to Sligo seniors and u17s who take on Mayo next weekend in their respective Connacht championships and also Sligo hurlers who take on Leitrim in the LoryM championship.
