The annual Golf Classic takes place in Carrick on Shannon on 10th June – contact Niall Kearns on 086 859 9792 or the Golf Shop to book your tee time. We will also be having a gathering on the night of the Golf Classic to honour the 1992 Senior Championship team in McDermotts Castlebaldwin.
There was no winner of the lotto at the weekend with one match three winner, David Gaffney, Riverstown who also won the house draw. The numbers drawn were 4, 10, 15 and 28. The jackpot now stands at €1,200 with the next draw in Des McDonagh's on Saturday 3rd June.
The senior ladies lost away to Calry in the league last Sunday on a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-7. Subs: Edel Lyons, Aisling Boyd, Aoife O'Connor. They now play Tourlestrane in Riverstown on Wednesday at 7.30PM.
The senior team are in action again this Saturday in the league away to Eastern Harps at 7PM while the Junior team are away to Easkey on Sunday at 1.00PM.
The boys U16 team play St Maloise Gaels at home this Thursday 25th at 7PM.
The boys U14 team lost 5-5 to 4-12 to Calry last Friday and now take on Tourlestrane away this Monday at 7PM.
The U12 girls lost 16-7 to Tourlestrane in the A league Semi-final last Thursday. They now play Coolera in the A Shield final on Saturday 3rd June in Markievicz Park.
The U8 and U10 have a blitz in Tourlestrane this Wednesday 24th at 7PM.
The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Paddy White, Castlebaldwin, and Joe Brennan, Riverstown, who died last week.
