Ballymote Junior team continue their unbeaten run and have maintained top spot in Division 3 after beating Eastern Harps last Friday in Gurteen. Ballymote were missing many regular players and were still too strong for Eastern Harps. Final score Eastern Harps 1-12 Ballymote 5-16. There next game is against St Marys in Corran Pk 24th June at 7.30pm.
U 16 next game is against Geevagh/St Michaels 26th June at 7pm in Geevagh.
U 14 are playing Div 1 League Cup semi-final against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in Bunninadden 19th June at 7pm in Bunninadden Community Pk. Good luck to management and players and come along and support the team.
U 12/11 welcomed St Marys last Tuesday and both teams were unsuccessful. Training continues Tuesday and Thursday and we hope to see a full attendance at training.
U 10/8 play a blitz in Coola next Wednesday at 7pm, can players be there at 6.40pm.
An informal gathering of the 1960 Ballymote minor team will take place in Doddys Lounge 14th July at 8.15pm. This team won the minor championships in this year. Squad members are Denis Kennedy, Jim Sreenan, Justin Henry RIP, Thomas Keenan, Paddy Cunney, Stephen Benton, Tommy McCann, Brendan Coleman, Brendan Benton RIP, Shane Gilhawely, Joe McGovern, Neal Farry, Paddy Prior, Sean Davey, Marcus Henry, Pat Rodgers, Liam Keirins, Peader Brennan, Rapheal Cassidy, Jim Donoghue, Vincent Hever, Seamus Fahey, John Cassidy and David Martin. Coach Alfie Banks and John Kivelan RIP, Joe O Hara RIP, and Eugene Gilhawely RIP. There is a small bit unfinished business involving this squad.
