The junior team had a good win over Castleconnor on Friday last. The final score was St. Farnan's 3-11, Castleconnor 1-6. The under 16 St. Farnan's / St. Pat's team play Calry/ St. Joseph's in the under 16 B league final on Monday next.
The under 12 team play away to Eastern Harps on Tuesday. On Sunday next the intermediate team play Easkey in the league at 1pm in Easkey. On Thursday the minor team play Tourlestrane in the semi final of the B league in Tourlestrane at 7pm.
In hurling, Easkey / St. Farnan's minor team received a walkover from Coolera on Thursday. The under 16 hurlers play away to Tourlestrane on Monday at 7pm.
Well done to Eamonn Kilgannon, Stephen Mulligan, Finnian Cawley, Sean Hallinan and Sligo under 21 hurlers on reaching the All Ireland C Final following defeat of Louth in the semi final on Saturday.
Hard luck to James Weir and Sligo minors on their defeat in the Connaught final.
The Footgolf Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, July 30th at 1 pm in Queen Meadbh Activity Centre, Ransboro. Teams of 4 compete for prizes on the day. Entry costs €10 per person. Contact Padraig Culkin to enter. Anyone willing to offer sponsorship would be much appreciated by the club.
