Team News

The Minor Boys had a busy week when they played Shamrock Gaels last Monday in their final league game. In what was a very high standard the lads dug out a one point win to secure their place in what looks like a wide open A Championship. On Thursday evening, they then faced Easkey/Enniscrone/Kilglass in the A shield semi-final. After their game on Monday tired legs played their part but the lads still dug out the win which sets them up for an A shield final this Thursday in Scarden. Full details are available on our Facebook page.

The senior men came up short away to Bunninadden on Sunday where a win would have guaranteed Division two football for next year. They face St Pats next Sunday with our league status still in our hands.

The U14 boys team begin their B Championship campaign underway with a home game against Castleconnor. After the step down from A League the lads will be looking to get their year back on track.

Hard luck to the U-12 girls who just lost out to Calry/St. Josephs in the championship yesterday evening.
The girls battled magnificently, and despite converting more scores lost out on a scoreline 7-3 4-10. Heads up girls, massive progress.

Hard luck to the senior girls who battled hard against a St. Pats team on Wednesday evening but unfortunately it was not to be. Final score Owenmore Gaels 2-10 St. Pats 4-11
