The senior football team played away to Tourlestrane in the  Div I Senior football League on Sun 16th July.  The game started at a hectic pace and our team had a goal on the scoreboard through D Cummins  in the first few minutes,  and then the  opposition launched a blistering attack with the ball ending up in the our net  leaving the score one goal each. The game ebbed and flowed for the next few minutes, and then Tourlestrane’s superior fitness levels and teamwork began to influence the game and they  finished ahead at the final whistle on a score of Tourlestrane 1—18 to Clary St Josephs 1—6.  Team on duty:- A Devaney, B Shannon, A Cummins, M Fowley, C Heraghty,  E Nicholson, C Mc Govern,  D O Boyle, B O Boyle , M Flynn, D Cummins, B Mc Govern ,  A  Flynn, C Griffin, P Heraghty, Subs   G Keaney , C Devaney. Training continues on Tues and Thurs    at 7.30pm.
Club Lotto draw results:- Jackpot €6,000,  numbers drawn 9, 15, 23, 27 and no winner. No match three numbers, Promoters prize winner   Martin Horan Cartron.  Next draw is on this Wed 19th July with a  Jackpot of €6,050.
Very well done to the under 12 girls who put in a stellar performance to defeat Owenmore Gaels in a pulsating and very sporting contest on Friday evening last in the Championship.

The under age hurlers continue to improve and they travelled to Easkey on Wednesday evening last to take on four teams there in a blitz and they came home with a 100% record.
The under age football teams travel to Coolaney on Wednesday evening next for the next round in their "go games" series. Saturday sees hey same team compete in the annual Hugh McGloughlin tournament. Action gets underway in Halewood at 10 AM..
