Our  senior football teams quarter final championship game against Tourlestrane was postponed as  a mark of respect to the Marren ( Tourlestrane )and Davey ((Curry) families  after the tragic death of Mairead Davey.  We extend our sincere sympathies to the Davey and Marrenfamilies at this verysad time. This game will be played next weekend and  training continues on Tues and Thurs    at 7.00pm.
Well done to our senior hurlers who had a great victory over Coolera Strandhill in the championship semi-finalon a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-9. Conditions were tough for both sides but it didn't stop our supporters from coming out in force to cheers us on.
Our under eights played an excellent game against Dromahaire at our Ballinode pitch on Saturday last.  Well done to all the players on a fantastic display and in particular to our younger players who shone brightly in their first game for the Club.  A very special thank you to Dromahaire who travelled for the game. Unfortunately our u/9 and u/11 games were cancelled again last Wednesday as a result of incessant rain. We hope to get our campaign back on track this Wednesday with a game against St Johns  in Scarden at 7pm .
The under age girls from the club had a fantastic day out at Croke Park for the Ladies all Ireland Final on Sunday last. A very special thank you to the organisers and to the parents who travelled to help make this trip such a success .
