Massive congratulations to the U14 boys after they claimed the B Championship against Calry/St. Josephs in Scarden last Tuesday. In what was a magnificent game of free-flowing football thee lads proved their strength and claimed the title by two points. A full match report can be seen on the club website or Facebook page.

The U13 boys continued their impressive start to the U13 B Féile competition as they had a comprehensive 11-12 to 6-8 victory over Calry/St. Josephs on Sunday morning. In what was a close first half the boys pulled away in the second to set themselves up strongly for their remaining group game. They face St. Michaels in their penultimate group game in Tuesday evening at 6pm in Ballintogher.

Well done to the U-14 girls on a superb win against St. Farnans on Thursday evening to qualify for the C Championship Final. Well done girls and management team of Anthony and Leah Sweeney

The Senior men are in action this weekend as they face Ballymote in the Lola Montez Junior A championship semi-final. The time, date and venue is yet to be confirmed. Please get out and support the lads.

Club Lotto

The Lotto draw took place in Cullen’s Bar on Monday 18th September 2017. The numbers drawn were 10, 20, 29 & 32. There was no winner of the €7,400 Jackpot. Congrats to our ‘Match 3’ winner Chris McDonagh who gets €100. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets and continues to support the club. As there was no Jackpot Winner this week, the Jackpot rolls over to €7,500. The next draw will take place in The Owenmore Inn on Monday 1st October.
