Sligo GAA are saddened on hearing the news of the passing of Jackie O'Hara, Tourlestrane and would like to offer its deepest condolences to the O'Hara Family on their loss. Jackie represented Sligo at Senior level in the 1960's before injury cut his career short but had many enjoyable years thereafter, following the football career of his son Eamonn and in later years Grandson Cian Breheny wearing the Sligo jersey. He will be sadly missed by his Family and wide circle of Friends. 

Funeral arrangements

O'HARA, Jackie (Cloongoona, Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo) on 10th October 2017, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne and dearly loved father of Derek, Ruth, Maree, Jacqueline and Eamonn. Brother of Fr. Eamonn O'Hara, retired P.P. of Carlton, Nottingham, England. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Jackie will repose at Coen's Funeral Home, The Square, Tubbercurry, on Wednesday, 11th October, from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday to St. Attracta's Church, Tourlestrane, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. The funeral will proceed to Rhue Cemetery.
