Preparations are in full flow now for our "Stars in Their Eyes" fundraiser which is taking place on 24th November in the Clayton Hotel Sligo.

Tickets are on sale and can be bought from any committee member, contestant, or from Davey's shop Hazelwood. There is a Star studded line up guaranteed with acts from "Sister-act" to the man himself "Elvis", making a return for one night only! A super nights entertainment is promised go get your tickets early and don't be disappointed.

Some excellent fundraising has already taken place in the form of Cake sales and quizzes.  A 5k "Family Fun Run" will take place from the Clubhouse on Saturday morning next while "Family Bingo" makes a return to the Mercy on Saturday night at 7.30pm

Our very own "Operation Transformation" will be making a return in the New Year so keep a look-out for details which will be posted shortly.

This was a hugely successful event last year which we hope to make even bigger and better this year!

The Dermot Molloy Hurling League Final had to be called off at the weekend due to an unplayable pitch.

We had a fantastic turnout for our Bord na nÖg awards night on Sunday evening in The Village Inn Cartron. All of our prizewinning teams were presented with their medals by County Star Darragh Cummins.

The young hurlers were also rewarded for their years work by the Senior team who were there with their Championship trophy on display!

We extend our deepest condolences to Tom Gallen and family on the recent passing of Tom's sister Mamie McGowan.
